This policy explains what The Smokehouse BBQ (Grenada) does with information when you contact us or place an order through WhatsApp or by phone.

What we collect

When you message us on WhatsApp we receive your WhatsApp phone number, the name you give for the order, the text of your messages, what you order, and the times of your messages and order. We do not collect payment card details through WhatsApp.

How we use it

• To take, prepare and hand over your order, and to answer your questions.
• To keep records of orders and to prevent misuse, for example repeated or fake orders.
• To help our staff when something goes wrong with an order.

Automated assistant

Part of our WhatsApp service uses an automated assistant powered by an artificial intelligence service. The text of your messages is sent to that service so it can read your request and write a reply. Our staff can read the conversation and take over at any time. The assistant is used only to take orders and answer questions about our menu and opening hours.

WhatsApp and our service providers

Messages travel through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta, under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. We also use an AI service provider and a hosting provider to run the ordering service. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep order records and conversations for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless we need to keep something longer for a dispute or the law.

Your choices

You can stop messaging us at any time. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, call us on +1 473 457 4999.

Children

Our ordering service is not aimed at children.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
